Here we are in Irving, Texas, with some of the sibs and their cousin Joe relaxing on the deck at Walt and Carol's house. Walt isn't in the photo because he became ill last night and has spent most of today at the emergency clinic undergoing tests. We are concerned and praying that he will recover soon. Maxine and Norm are seated in the picture. Standing at back are Don, cousin Joe, Harold and Larry.
Joe and his wife Elaine live in the DC area, Virginia side. We caught up with them in Tulsa, where Elaine had come for a chemo treatment. This photo was on Friday morning before we started out for Texas. Joe rode to Irving with us, so he could see these cousins he hadn't seen in over 30 years. He is flying back to Tulsa tonight to be with Elaine, and they will fly home to Virginia on Monday if she responds well to her chemo, which she received on Friday. Sunday, June 7, is their 45th wedding anniversary. We wish them many more happy years together!More from Friday night's Italian dinner and other reunion events will be posted soon. Meanwhile, it's almost time to eat again, and we need to head back to Walt and Carol's from our motel.
