Living on Tulsa Time

We spent most of the day on I-44, leaving St. Louis around 10:30 this morning and arriving at our motel in Tulsa a little after 6 p.m. It was a good day for a drive; sunny but cool with a very refreshing breeze every time we got out to walk. We can't get over how green everything is, and how full the lakes, ponds, and streams are. I was driving a lot of the time so I don't have any photos to post, but will try to have some tomorrow.

We spent a wonderful evening visiting with Joe and Elaine. I know the Linville readers of this blog will want to know that. They showed us all around the Cancer Treatment Center where Elaine has been coming for her treatments every three weeks. They are both very sold on the care here, and Elaine has made remarkable progress since they began. They are such positive people it's a boost to spend time with them.

Joe is going to come along for the ride tomorrow so he will be attending the sib reunion in Irving. Surely we'll get good photos then! We hope all of the family travelers have a safe trip. Can't wait to see you!
